A rafting experience accessible to everyone
No previous experience or preparation is necessary. Jump into the raft and experience an unforgettable adventure! Rafting is perfect for team building, stag and hen parties or simply for those looking for an exciting activity. The Sesia River is one of the most beautiful in the Alps, with emerald green waters and intense rapids interspersed with beautiful lakes. Depending on the season and the water level, there are two possible routes: the 'Classic' and the 'Gorges'.
The classic section of the Sesia
When the water level is high, we face the long, intense rapids of the 'classic' section. Starting from Balmuccia, we will travel the 8 km to Morca together. The rapids become increasingly violent, including the famous 'Trancia' rapids, followed by the technical curves of the 'Slalom' rapids. The river calms down a little, but attention remains high to tackle the last rapids, "The Igloo" and "The Wall", which are the most technical and challenging.
The Sesia Gorge: Rafting and Canyoning
In July and August, when the water recedes, we move to the beautiful stretch of the Sesia Gorge. This shorter, but rarely beautiful route takes us through narrow gorges with vertical walls, accessible only by rafting. Starting from Scopa and arriving at Balmuccia, adventurers will experience a mixture of rafting and canyoning, with narrow rapids that will force us to walk through some points, then reach the raft with dives and slides. The rapids, although shorter, are intense and will leave you breathless with the beauty of the hidden places.
